Our Story
I’m Christie-Anne and my husband is Gerhard. We share a love of entertaining, food, cooking and baking. I think my inspiration started when we lived in the United Kingdom and travelled to Paris a lot. I have travelled to Dubai, Germany, London, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Paris and Venice and I do believe this has changed my view and tastes of different types of cuisine. I loved sharing these experiences with my husband and we do everything together even cook and give cooking lessons together. I also love working with people and meeting new people, we are like a species of “foodies” and to share the love of food and cooking with someone and their experience or sharing something new with someone that has not made this or that before is truly wonderful. I was so excited when Nataniel chose me as one of his guests on the first season of Nataniel’s Tafel and my experience on MasterChef SA’s first season’s top 50.
