Our Story

I’m Christie-Anne and my husband is Gerhard. We share a love of ​entertaining, food, cooking and baking. I think my inspiration ​started when we lived in the United Kingdom and travelled to ​Paris a lot. I have travelled to Dubai, Germany, London, ​Zimbabwe, Zambia, Paris and Venice and I do believe this has ​changed my view and tastes of different types of cuisine. I loved ​sharing these experiences with my husband and we do everything ​together even cook and give cooking lessons together. I also love ​working with people and meeting new people, we are like a ​species of “foodies” and to share the love of food and cooking with ​someone and their experience or sharing something new with ​someone that has not made this or that before is truly wonderful. I ​was so excited when Nataniel chose me as one of his guests on the ​first season of Nataniel’s Tafel and my experience on MasterChef ​SA’s first season’s top 50.
